Ben White made his Arsenal debut on Friday night – but he didn’t get the result he wanted.
Goals from Sergi Canos and Christian Norgaard ensured Brentford left Arsenal without any points on the opening evening of the Premier League season.

It was obviously a disappointing start. I think we created some chances and could have had some goals, but we didn’t today, and they did.
On making his debut…
Obviously, it’s an unbelievable feeling that’s clouded by the result.
On where things went wrong tonight…
It’s both boxes, isn’t it? If you don’t score goals and concede, that’s where they got away from us.
On missing Aubameyang and Lacazette…
Obviously, they’re massive players, but we’ve got enough quality in the squad to do it.
