Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has described Wolverhampton Wanderers as an “organized” and “dominant” team ahead of the Gunners’ league clash with Nuno Espirito’s side.
Wolves have seen a significant rise since the appointment of the Portuguese manager, with the club now a force to reckon with after gaining promotion in the league.
Since his appointment, Nuno Espírito Santo has been resolute with his style of play, constantly using the three-back system.
However, Nuno Espírito Santo sprang a surprise on Monday when he switched from a back three to a back four for the first time as Wolves head coach.
“Obviously it is different and you could see the way they finished the second half in the last game [against Southampton],” Mikel Arteta said.
“We know we have to be prepared to go against both situations, in the back three formations they have different options to play as well, and they are a threat in different areas, so we need to get prepared like we always do.
“[It is] a really tough game, they are one of the most organized teams in the league for sure.
“They have been together for a long time, they have shown in big games against big opponents how difficult they can make it, so I am expecting a difficult game against a team that dominates almost every aspect of the game I would say. They know exactly what to do.”
