Arsenal defender Cedric Soares and his wife Filipa Brandão have been blessed with a baby girl they christened Siena.
The Portuguese star has had so many troubles getting his place into the national team that he helped win the Euro 2016 tournament.
But the 29-year-old has got his career back on track at the Emirates despite his struggles with Inter Milan and Premier League side Southampton.
The right-back is now counting his blessing after welcoming his first child while his teammates are ion international duty.
The Arsenal star could hold his emotions and he shared “blessed” as he holds the newborn Siena closely to his chest.
Being a mother for the first time his wife Filipa published the image of her daughter as she said: “Is the real destination. We cannot find the meaning of life alone, we find it with the other.”
Soares’ loan deal from Southampton was made permanent during the summer after playing a part in Mikel Arteta’s side triumph in the FA Cup last season.
The skilful defender is yet to find his place into Fernandes Santos’ side after failing to nail a starting place for the several clubs he has played for.
