As part of the deal, the 27-year-old will earn up to £250,000 a week and has signed a four-year deal to join the North London based club.
Partey has been a key player for Diego Simeone’s side over the past few years after breaking onto the scene as a raw talent.
Partey made 46 appearances last season, scoring four times and providing one assist.
The Ghanaian finally earned the widespread plaudits he deserved after some superb displays in the Champions League upset over Liverpool.
With Mikel Arteta seeking to strengthen his team in the ongoing 2020/2021 season, Partey could well be the perfect fit for the club.
Welcome to the Partey! 🥳
