Gabriel Magalhaes and Willian both had an Arsenal debut to remember as the Gunners welcomed Fulham to the Premier League with a 3-0 thumping.
The two debutants showed why the club went to such lengths to sign them by starring on the opening day of the new season.

Not only did Gabriel add instant assurance at the back, but the £27million defender also scored his first Gunners goal.
Willian created it, along with both of his side’s other goals, which were scored by more familiar marksmen Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Lacazette opened the scoring, becoming the first man to net the first goal in separate Premier League campaigns after Willian poked the ball against Fulham goalkeeper Marek Rodak.

The Brazilian, who joined on a free from Chelsea last month, then whipped in a perfect corner for Gabriel to force home with his shoulder at the start of the second half.
Then Aubameyang, influential as ever throughout, rounded off a fearsome display with a stunning effort curled into the top corner after a pass from Willian.
In truth, Scott Parker’s side didn’t get near the visitors, who made a serious statement of intent after a busy summer in the market.
Three goals did not do their dominance justice, and while Fulham clearly has a job on their hands to survive, Arsenal might be getting ambitious at the other end of the table.
