Arsenal forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been listed in the Professional Footballers’ Association Team of the Season.
The 31-year-old had a terrific 2019/2020 campaign where he came very close to winning the Golden Boot trophy once again.
He was just a goal shy of Jamie Vardy who walked away with the award after scoring 23 league goals.
He completed the season with 22 league goals and added four more in the FA Cup as he helped the Gunners win the trophy against Chelsea.
The Gabonese international has been instrumental for Mikel Arteta’s side as he has already won the Community Shield ahead of the new season.
After been named in the elite list, Arsenal Tweeted to congratulate him on this achievement with the caption “When you’re named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year Congratulations, @Aubameyang7″.
