Henrikh Mkhitaryan has joined Roma on a permanent basis after spending the 2019/20 campaign on loan there, Arsenal have confirmed.
The Armenian joined Arsenal in a swap deal from Manchester United involving Alexis Sanchez in January 2018 and had one full season with the Gunners in 2018/19.
The Armenia international joined the North London-based club from Manchester United in January 2018 and memorably marked his first Premier League start for us with a hat-trick of assists in a 5-1 win over Everton.
During his time with The Gunners, Mhki helped the club reach the 2019 Europa League final and he claimed a total of 13 assists and scored nine goals in all competitions as an Arsenal player.
A history maker for his country, Mhki is Armenia’s all-time top goalscorer and has been named Armenian Footballer of the Year nine times.
