The young Brazilian sprinted 67 yards in 13 seconds to turn a Blues corner into a devastating goal on the counter-attack at Stamford Bridge.
Martinelli’s finish received 31 per cent of the votes cast, narrowly edging Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s Heads Up FA Cup final winner into second place. Joe Willock’s rocket against Liverpool finished in third.
The 19-year-old joined the Gunners from Ituano and has scored 10 goals in 26 games across all competitions.
