Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is close to penning a new contract at Arsenal on Friday, putting an end to rumours of an exit.
Reports in England suggest the Gabonese international is nearing a contract extension to a deal which currently expires in 11 months.
The new deal will see Aubameyang earn £250,000-a-week deal tying him to the club until 2023.
Talks have progressed well in recent days and although there are still some minor issues to be addressed.
The Gunners have since agreed to those terms with further bonuses due to be paid relating to performance, including an additional payment if Arsenal qualifies for the Champions League or if Aubameyang wins the Premier League Golden Boot in any of the next three seasons.
The 31-year-old had a stellar 2019/2020 season, scoring 22 league goal and bagged a brace in the FA Cup finals against Chelsea at Wembley.
Aubameyang has been impressive for the Gunners ever since joining the club in January of 2018 netting 54 goals in 85 Premier League games.
