Arsenal is planning to add Emile Smith Rowe into Mikel Arteta’s first team after loan spells.
According to football.london, the club will not send the players out on loan again and will be integrated into the first team ahead of preseason preparations for the 2020/2021 season.
The head coach of the team, Mikel Arteta is eager to work with the youngsters, with Emile Smith Rowe, a prominent mention by the Spaniard.
“I am excited to work with him,” Arteta said of Smith Rowe last month. “I have been talking with him and I have followed him during his spell on loan. I think he’s someone who can be pretty impressive.”
Meanwhile, Tyreece John-Jules among top academy products will be sent out on loan.
John-Jules after spending half of last season with League One side, Lincoln is attracting interest from several clubs including Championship clubs.
The temporary departure of John-Jules and Folarin Balogun pushing for a permanent move away from the club means there will be space for other U-19’s to join up the U-23 side for the upcoming season.
Matt Smith, a prominent player on Arteta’s bench after the Premier League restart will also be sent out on loan for the 2020/2021 campaign.
