Arsenal have agreed to sell defender, Laurent Koscielny to the French club, Bordeaux for a fee worth £4.6m
The 33-year-old is expected to have his medicals on August 6, 2019, before completing the move to the Ligue Un outfit.
The French international has been with the Gunners for nine years and will not leave after mutual agreement reached between himself and the club.
The centre-back, however, had a year left on his contract with which Unai Emery was still keen to work with him as he named him as captain of the club.
The former France player refused to travel with the rest of the team as they embarked on a pre-season tour in the United States of America.
Although a deal has been agreed between Bordeaux and Arsenal, Rennes are also eager to beat their league rivals to acquiring the services of the experienced defender.
