Greek defender, Sokratis has spoken ahead of Arsenal’s Europa League final match against Chelsea in Baku.
The Gunners are will be looking forward to an European silverware under their Spanish manager who has a rich history in winning this tournament in his days with Sevilla.
Speaking ahead of the match, Greek centre back believes Hazard is a threat but the team has no specific plans in mapping him out of the game.
The defender believes Chelsea have players who can hurt them but believes Arsenal have equally capable players to help the team reach the Champions League next season.
“Hazard? A very good player – but we also have very good players. Of course, we plan for everybody but, they are planning for us,” Sokratis said in an interview.
“We have Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Mesut Ozil, they have Gonzalo Higuain, Olivier Giroud. A lot of good players. We won’t be focusing on one player, but on the team because in a final it is the team that wins.”
“The other factor is luck. You can shoot five times and score two or three and the other team shoots five times and gets no goals. I hope that this happens.”
The match will take place on Wednesday in Baku Olympic Stadium.
