Images of Arsenal’s home and away kits for the 2019/20 season have surfaced the internet.
Arsenal legend, Ian Wright seemingly posted the home and away kits on his twitter account prematurely.
Fans across the world were excited as the former striker uploaded a picture of the striking duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette wearing these kits on his Twitter page.
The picture was quickly deleted but it was too little, too late as fans who have got a quick glimpse liked what they saw smartly saved the footage and reposted it in approval.
Arsenal who in October have signed a deal to swap Adidas for Puma for the next five years. With the club’s current deal with Puma set to expire in July, thus fans won’t be able to get their hands on the kits until that time, when the Adidas deal worth £60m-per-year comes into effect.
Arsenal’s home shirt will be a traditional red with white sleeves. Both the collar and sleeve cuffs are mainly white with navy and red striping, inspired by home kits worn between 1986-1990. Their away kit draws inspiration from the ‘bruised banana’ kit from 1991. The away kit was also expected to feature designs of previous seasons, with the ‘bruised banana’ yellow a classic favorite among Gunners supporters.
Arsenal fans will be looking forward to wearing these kits to match day games to cheer the Gunners wherever they play next season.
